Who are we?
This Women’s Drum Retreat is sponsored by The Birch School, Inc, an educational non-profit organization based in New York.
The fees charged cover the expense of overnight accommodations, catered food, and fees for teachers and performers. The fees charged reflect those expenses only, as no person or organization is making a profit on this event.
Our group welcomes all women in a comfortable space that centers the experience of women’s drumming tradition and women’s drumming over time.
Scholarships
Scholarships and Partial Assistance: Our organizing team is committed to welcoming all and have set aside funds for financial assistance. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please contact us.
In your email please include the reasons you would like to be considered to receive financial assistance, if you would like to offer services or barter in exchange, and any other details that will help the scholarship committee

Facility Details
Lodging is in basic rustic cabins, 4 beds to a cabin. Cabins will be shared with 4 women. You bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and pillows.
Bathhouses and restrooms are centrally located a short distance from the cabins.
Registration includes 6 meals, from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, and two nights accommodations. All programming is included, including pool and access to meeting halls and outdoor areas.
